Leslie High School
Welcome to Leslie High School, home of the Blackhawks!
Leslie is a four-year comprehensive high school, founded in 1837, with a current enrollment of about 350 students in grades 9-12. Our school has a reputation for rigorous academics and an extensive co-curricular program that is valued by the community. We have a rich tradition of hosting exchange students. Leslie is large enough to offer Advanced Placement, multiple foreign languages, band, choir, drama, and other elective classes, at the same time, small enough so every student is noticed and cared for. The staff takes great pride in maintaining a school that builds character by being respectful, responsible, and ready.
My name is Andrea Roach, and I am the Principal of Leslie High School. My goal is to help your child transition through the high school years as they prepare for a successful future. I am passionate about education, and I look forward to partnering with you to provide our students with a rigorous, engaging, and high-quality high-school experience.
This is my 23rd year as a Blackhawk, working for Leslie Public Schools. I have enjoyed many years teaching at the elementary and middle schools, leading curriculum and interventions K-12, and serving as an administrator. As principal, I look forward to working with students, staff, and parents to ensure that all students have a positive, safe learning environment where they can succeed.
Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions and/or concerns. I am delighted to have the opportunity to serve you and our students at Leslie High School!
